Parks and Gardens

Stroll through the exotic plant life of Allan Gardens with tropical plants from all over the world –from palm trees to cacti.  The conservatory is almost 100 years old and has more than 16,000 square feet of greenhouse area.

Edwards Gardens
Roam through this quiet, formal, 14-hectare garden, just 15 minutes from our luxury hotel, featuring perennials and roses on the uplands and wildflowers, rhododendrons and an extensive rockery in the valley. Edwards Gardens is part of a series of parks that stretch over 240 hectares along the Don Valley.

High Park
Come and explore one of the most significant natural sites in Toronto.  This 161-hectare park in the far west of Midtown was surveyor and architect John G. Howard's gift to the city. He lived in Colborne Lodge, which still stands in the park. The park provides a unique and unusual sense of wilderness within a major urban centre and is home to many species of wildlife, including birds, fish and animals.

Visit this unique music garden along Toronto’s waterfront to see the work of Cellist Yo-Yo Ma and landscape designer Julie Moir Messervy inspired by Bach's First Suites for Unaccompanied Cello.
